Special request
Gai and Miaw called me from Payao Bible College, where they are finishing their first year, concerned about a couple that was being forced to drop out for lack of payment. They wondered if I could maybe do something to help. They said they were going to ask around and collect what they could, but the total need, about $800, is far more than they could come up with.
I am so proud of Gai and Miaw that I could bust. School has been a difficult challenge for Gai, who never really studied hard all his life until now, but he has hung in there. His first semester he was afraid he would fail a majority of his subjects, but he passed them all.
But what has made me most proud is the heart for others that we see developing in Gai and Miaw more and more. This was not the first time they called out of concern for other students who were struggling--not financially, but with other needs such as a couple with marriage trouble.
I suggested they get a photo, write some info in an email and send it to me, and I'd see what I could do. This is not something that would benefit The Well directly, but helping Gai and Miaw help this couple would be a big encouragement for them as future leaders with The Well. Again, the total need is about $800. However I do not want the whole amount to come from the foreign sources--this is a good challenge for Gai, Miaw and their friends to sacrifice to help their brother and sister. _ I am Lavá tribe _ Education high school
I have been a Christian since I was child
- My wife's name: Sansany Soungmongkhonnam we have two daughters the older is studying in the third years in high school and the younger is studying in the fourth years of primary school
-My Vision that I want to study the scripture because I want to be the God 'servant and want to tel the gospel to many people who don 't know God and especially to people who be the tribe who live in country side do not have occasion to hear the gospel .
- About the trouble I suffer now is I don 't the fund to pay for school 's fee :
For the first my younger brother and sister they promised to subport me for the fee until finish but the brother who worked in abroad can not work because of his health and sister didn 't do her job too
Now I am in debt (don 't have fund to pay) for the school 's fee of period 2008-09 there are
28,500 bath so I can not study until finish the first year and every thing will cancel (For it is the rule of there ) if I do not pay however it only one month I will finish the first year ,
Now I can 't do any thing I just only pray and I want to study finish the first year and if our Father will to bless for the fund I want to study until finish this school ,
